Basionym:— Coreopsis rhyacophila Greenman (1900: 313).
Homotypic Synonym:— Pseudoagarista rhyacophila (Greenman) Tadesse & Crawford (2023: 155).
TYPE:— MEXICO. Morelos: near Cuernavaca, 2500 m., 9 February 1899, Pringle 7866 (holotype: GH 00006203, digital image!).
