Animalezas Sonoras was born thanks to the FONCA Young Creators grant in 2017. This project focuses on children's musical composition, allowing them to experiment with different families of instruments (wind, string, percussion, and voice) through a playful and "buildable" approach. Initially, forty dissectible musical miniatures were created for chamber ensembles, providing an interactive space where children could play with the compositions and create their own scores.

Over time, the project evolved into an interactive installation, transforming these exercises into interactive concerts. The collaborative practice of composition demonstrated a positive impact on children's creativity, teamwork, and cognitive and emotional development.

Thanks to the UNAM Faculty of Music and the support of Dr. José Luis Navarro Solís, I was able to systematize and refine this experience in my master's thesis in Music Education.

The project consists of integrated sessions, culminating in a didactic concert. Each one-hour session follows a didactic sequence that includes an introductory exercise, a phase for developing key concepts, and an introspective closure with a multisensory activity.

This project is designed for teachers, therapists, families, and anyone interested in fostering divergent thinking in young children.

I hope you find this guide useful.
