Digitalization of logistics processes In the conditions of the development of the digital economy

Relevance of the research topic. The digitalization process is one of the main factors affecting
the modern economy. The acceleration of digital development becomes a factor in the growth of the
country’s economy, a tool for increasing corporate efficiency, increasing profitability and strengthening
competitiveness. And one of the priorities for ensuring the development and improvement of the
competitive positions of logistics enterprises is the digitization of logistics processes and the large–
scale implementation of modern information technologies: GIS, GPS, EDI, BarCode, etc.
A comprehensive analysis of existing conceptual tools and the determination of the main directions of
development of digitalization of logistics processes is a very relevant issue, since the range of logistics
activities is constantly expanding, including internal logistics of the enterprise, inter–industry, regional,
international and other types of logistics coordination and integration.
The aim of the study. Analysis and evaluation of the digitization of logistics processes in the context
of the development of the digital economy.
Research methods. The article uses the method of analysis, comparison, and the method of
summarizing data, the research is based on a systematic approach to the considered problems, the
study of their relationship and development.
The results of the research are the development of theoretical and methodological principles and
relevant practical recommendations that will allow us to develop effective strategies for the introduction
of digital technologies in logistics and increase the efficiency and quality of logistics processes.
Field of application of results. The results of the study can be used in the organization of logistics
business processes of enterprises, which is part of the operation of the logistics macro system.
Conclusions. Analysis of existing conceptual tools and determination of the main directions of
development of digitalization of logistics processes can serve as a theoretical and methodological
basis for further scientific research in the field of logistics activities.
