TL: Sarawak, Borneo. Lectotype, (♂) designated (as type) by Swinhoe (1900).
TD: UM, Oxford.
Distribution in India: Bombay (Strand 1920); NE Himalaya (Holloway 2003). Elsewhere: SE Asia, Borneo, Sumatra, Indo-Australian topics to Solomons (Holloway 2003); Vietnam, Peninsular Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines (László et al., 2004).
Host Plant: Terminalia (Holloway 2003).
Remarks: Snellen (1904) mispelled Sarbena lignifera as S. signifera Walker.
