Description

New features:

  • Users can now customize the boundaries for each parameter in the config file
  • Multi-normal variables (Gaussian) seeds can now be implemented as a starting point in the MCMC process. The seeds are created from the file bjet_mcmc/p0_file.txt that is retrieved when using the option p0=gaussian in the config file. The location of the p0_file.txt is hardcoded, this will be improved in a further update.

Optimization:

  • Added likelihood profile corner plot with set default binning of 30
  • Optimized corner plots boundaries
  • Use pdf instead of svg for outputs
  • Removed outdated parameter custom_alpha2_limits
  • Raise an Exception when not enough statistics to probe the 1-sigma parameter space

Bug fixing:

  • Fixed a bug that crashed the code when the model matches exactly an upper limit value at the machine precision level
  • Raise Exception when not enough statistics to probe the 1-sigma parameter space
  • Bug fixed on min_max_params_1sigma function (ndim was hardcoded), no clear evidence that it really affected the outputs
  • U_BLR output was given without considering the frequency shift of the blob motion. This only affects the number in the output log file. The EIC-BLR process is done correctly.
