Evaluation of the fixation of the green algae Codium taylorii in three types of substrates for its subsequent culture
Description
Optimization of the initial step in macroalgae cultivation to boost production yield. The initial labor required for macroalgae culture significantly affects production profitability. To address this issue, this experiment was conducted to develop a more cost-effective cultivation technique. The aim was to evaluate the impact of two environmental variables (temperature and irradiance) and the substrate on the fixation capacity of utricles and filaments of the green algae species Codium taylorii.
