CoARA Action Plan Information Society Development Institute

The Information Society Development Institute (IDSI) of the Republic of Moldova is a scientific institution specialized in providing scientific support and instrumentation for the development of the information society. Throughout its existence, IDSI has endeavored to promote integrity and excellence in the academic community of the Republic of Moldova.

In the light of the principles promoted, IDSI welcomed the development at EU level of the Agreement on Reforming Research Assessment. With the emergence of the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA) and its openness to all interested parties, IDSI has analyzed in detail the commitments and principles contained in the Agreement and decided that they correspond to the aspirations of the institution. Accordingly, the institution signed the Agreement online on the CoARA website, and on October 26, 2023 IDSI was notified that its application for CoARA membership had been accepted and validated by the Coalition's Board of Directors.
