Distribution and remarks: found in rivers in vicinity of Limbe, Cameroon, and from the islands of São Tome, Príncipe and Pagalu (Annobón) in most drainage basins along the Gulf of Guinea. Record for Gabon: MRAC P-94086.0038 “Anabon (= Annobon)” collecteur: Lévy, MRAC P-A0048.1469A0048.1471 “Lac Onangué, bassin Ogooué”.
