B: Detail of the circuli of the anterior area near the focus, between two radii. The circuli are thicker than the more anterior ones (compare with Fig. A). C: Detail of the posterior area. Four cteni are seen, the base of which are fit each other and with more ancient ctenial bases. Scale bars: A, C = 100 μm; B = 25 μm.
