Practitioner Survey for Smart Car Parking

In this survey, we aimed to understand practitioners' perspectives on smart car parking.

Our survey targets park controllers and includes 15 questions to understand their current challenges on the car parking processes and their expectations from a smart car parking system that optimises the car parking processes.

Our survey has been participated by the park controllers who work for ISPARK which is the subsidiary of the Istanbul Municipality. The park controllers do not currently use any software applications to manage car parking processes. Each park controller is responsible for one unique street They direct the drivers arriving to the empty parking spaces and process the drivers' payment.

We have managed to receive responses from 15 park controllers. Since the park controllers only speak Turkish, our survey here has been designed and executed in Turkish.
