Influence of MgAl-LDHs/TiO2 composites on mechanical and photocatalytic performances for cement pastes and recycled aggregates (preprint)

Description

The effects of MgAl-LDHs/TiO2 composites on the properties of concrete consisting of cement paste and recycled aggregates are investigated and analysed with advanced experimental equipments. This sustainable material shows enhanced hydration process, shortened setting time, improved compressive strength, optimised interfacial transition zone structure and good photocatalytic activity, which has impressive potential for construction practice.
