DEVELOPMENT OF FEUDAL LAND TENURE IN ANCIENT RUSSIA IN ASSESSED BY SOVIET HISTORIOGRAPHY
Authors/Creators
Description
The article considers the system of feudal land relations in Russia, which according to many historians of the Soviet period was formed at the expense of the bourgeoisie, boyars and rich peasant families. It is shown that the expansion of large land holdings at the end of XI and XII centuries led to the emergence of a full-fledged manorial system in ancient Russia, when the existence of various forms of land ownership associated with military service was recognized.
