Ultrafest XI: Extended Abstracts

This is the book of extended abstracts of presentations at the 11th Conference on Ultrasound Imaging for Speech and Language (Ultrafest XI). Ultrafest XI was held at the University of Aizu on June 24–25, 2024. The conference featured 18 oral presentations, 22 poster presentations, and two invited speakers: Dr. Bryan Gick and Dr. Wei-Rong Chen. Ultrafest is held approximately every two years and is dedicated to the use of ultrasound for speech research. The first Ultrafest was organized by Doug Whalen at Haskins Laboratories in 2002, and it continues to thrive more than 20 years later. The next Ultrafest will be hosted by Université Paris Cité, probably in November 2026.
