Spatial Justice Benchmarking: How does Rotterdam consider spatial justice in their urban sustainability transition plans? And how to evaluate it?

Poster presented at the 2024 Climate Action Festival at TU Delft.

As part of the TU Delft team in the UP2030 HE project, we are developing tools and approaches for promoting spatial justice in urban sustainability transition planning and design in 10 European cities and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The poster is a summary of some of the outputs we have been developing applied to the assessment of the Action Plan 2023-2026 of the Rotterdams WeerWoord Profiel from Rotterdam. The results can be useful for planners, designers, and policymakers in providing specific recommendations focusing on each dimension, highlighting directions on where to improve towards spatial justice.
