Flight Issues and Popular Airlines

This data visualization project explores flight Issues and popular airlines. Flight Issues: Delay and Safety and Popular Airlines: Revenue and Passenger counts are visualized using Tableau and Datamatic. 

The following questions are explored in this project.

Flight Issues: Flight Delay

• How many flights arrive on time?
• Compared five causes of flight delay to see which reason makes the flight delay the most in each month?
• Which kind of flight delay is decreasing and increasing over the years?
• Which kind of flight delays will keep increasing or decreasing?
• Over the year, does flight delay got increased or decreased?

Flight Issues: Safety

• Which airlines is the safest? Answers are based on Fatalities, Fatal accidents, Incidents of 56 airlines.

Popular Airlines: Revenue

• Which airlines has the highest revenue? Compared data from 2007 to 2016 of 10 popular domestic airlines.

Popular Airlines: Passenger Counts

• Which airlines are used the most by travelers to and from to Los Angeles domestically and internationally? Compared passenger data from July 2005 to December 2017 of 57 airlines.
