NEWBITS - Case study taxonomy

This project deliverable provides a taxonomic framework to support the definition and validation of case studies in the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) sector ensuring adequate support for a market research analysis, the development and validation of business models, as well as a stakeholders’ analysis. The approach is applied to four pre-selected ITS case studies.
First, the report describes the factors for preselecting the case studies in representativeness and variety, status, scalability and transferability, network of stakeholders, and market opportunities. Second, the report outlines the validation process determining whether selected case studies are representative of the variety in types of the ITS market segments and services, barriers/enablers and KPIs for the implementation of ITS services.
