INTERRUPTION OF PROPAGATION OF DETONATION WAVES IN GAS SUSPENSIONS BY A LAYER OF HOMOGENEOUS INERT PARTICLES
Authors/Creators
Description
Within the framework of the model of unsteady motion of a multiphase multicomponent mixture, a numerical simulation of two-dimensional axisymmetric unsteady motion of a dispersed three-phase reacting mixture of two component gas, unitary fuel particles and homogeneous inert particles is presented. The interruption of the propagation of heterogeneous detonation waves in monodisperse gas suspensions of unitary fuel by layers of homogeneous monodisperse inert suspension has been studied. The influence of the relative mass content of chemically inert particles, their diameter and layer length on interrupting the propagation of a heterogeneous detonation wave in gas suspensions of unitary fuel has been studied.
