Description

2 Aulacidae

To date the Family Aulacidae contains about 321 recognized species within two extant genera: Aulacus with 123 species and Pristaulacus with 198 species (Chen et al. 2016; Turrisi 2017; Jennings et al. 2018; Konishi & Matsumoto 2019; Smith & Turrisi 2020; Turrisi & Smith 2020; Perioto et al. 2020; Jouault et al. 2022; Deans et al. 2024; Pham et al. 2024). In total, 25 species are recorded in China, five Aulacus and 20 Pristaulacus species.
