Description

Data used in the paper "Hybrid reconstruction approach for polychromatic CT in highly limited data scenarios”, by A.Piol, D. Sanderson, C.F. Del Cerro, A. Lorente Mur, M. Desco and M. Abella published in Sensors. 

All files are CT reconstructions (.img format):

  • TARGETS.zip: This .zip file contains the reconstructions of the standard dose data using FDK+2DCalBH used as targets. Files are organized into training, validation, and test sets. All files are in 32-bit float format and use little-endian byte order. 
  • SD.zip: This .zip file contains the reconstructions from standard dose data using FDK. Files are organized into training, validation, and test datasets. All files are in 32-bit float format and use little-endian byte order. 
  • LD.zip: This .zip file contains the reconstructions from low-dose data using FDK, organized into training, validation, and test datasets. All files are in 32-bit float format and use little-endian byte order. 
  • LNP.zip: This .zip file contains the reconstructions of data with limited number of projections using FDK. Files are organized into training, validation, and test datasets. All files are in 32-bit float format and use little-endian byte order. One simulation out of the three used  in the paper. 
  • LSA.zip: This .zip file contains the reconstructions of data with simited span using FDK. Files are organized into training, validation, and test datasets. All files are in 32-bit float format and use little-endian byte order. One simulation out of the three used  in the paper. 

The name of the files is as follows: <StudyID>_<Method>_sp<span>_ini<FirstAngle>_np<proj>_<DimXxDimYxDimZ>.img

with:

  • StudyID: Study identifier
  • Method: Reconstruction method: FDK or FDK+2DCallBH
  • Span: It is the span angle in degrees
  • FirstAngle: Starting angular position
  • Proj: Number of projections
  • DimXxDimYxDimZ: Integers indicating the number of pixels in the three directions.
