Опыт лечения гнойно-воспалительных заболеваний щитовидной железы

Авторами проанализированы результаты лечения 5 пациентов с острым гнойным тиреоидитом в возрасте от 37 до 55 лет. Все пациенты оперированы. У троих заболевание осложнилось развитием флегмоны шеи и нисходящим острым гнойным медиастинитом.  Данной категории пациентов кроме оперативного вмешательства на первичном очаге инфекции выполнялось вскрытие и дренирование глубоких клетчаточных пространств шеи, чресшейная медиастинотомия.  Благоприятный исход заболевания зависел от своевременной диагностики и адекватно проведенного хирургического лечения. В послеоперационном периоде наряду с традиционными методами лечения применялись экстракорпоральные методы детоксикации, ГБО.

The authors analyzed the results of treatment of 5 patients with acute purulent thyroiditis at the age from 37 to 55 years. All patients were operated on. At three the disease was complicated by the development of phlegmon of the neck and descending acute purulent mediastinitis. This category of patients, in addition to surgical intervention at the primary focus of the infection, performed opening and draining of the deep cell space of the neck, a crescent mediastinotomy. A favorable outcome of the disease depended on timely diagnosis and adequately conducted surgical treatment. In the postoperative period, in addition to traditional methods of treatment, extracorporeal methods of detoxification, HBO, were used.
