As documented in 02/2018 with site cleared and enclosed by the Archaeological Survey of India. The fissures in the masonry on the south and western side, and the collapse of the phāṃsanā roof on the eastern side, suggest a substantial earthquake after the 11th century (period of construction) and the absence of any restoration subsequently, indicating the structure was effectively abandoned.
