Standalone Docker image for Damast (for demo purposes only!)

This is a standalone version of the Damast prototype. This version includes a pre-set configuration and a PostgreSQL database server. A demo user is configured (username damast, password damast), and the entire user interface is available on port 80. To install and start, download the Docker image, load it, and run it with the port forwarding:

$ sudo docker load < damast-standalone_1.3.2.tar.gz

$ sudo docker run --rm -i -t -p 80:80 -e NGINX_PORT=80 damast-standalone:1.3.2

If a different port than 80 is used, the NGINX_PORT environment variable needs to be set as well, and the internal and external port should match (e.g., for port 2500: "-p 2500:2500 -e NGINX_PORT=2500"). Otherwise, the links and redirects generated by Flask will no longer work, as neither Flask nor nginx are aware of the additional reverse proxy-like port change Docker does.

This image is intended for demo purposes only! For a production system, use a separate PostgreSQL database outside of the Docker image (e.g., this one) and a mounted volume for the configuration files, as described in the documentation.

Note: Due to repeated difficulties with uploading the 23GB image file archive as one file, I chunked it into 500MB parts using GNU split(1). It can be re-assembled by concatenating the chunk files in alphabetical order, for example using cat or DOS copy: `LC_ALL=C ls damast-standalone_1.3.2.tar.gz__chunked?? | xargs cat > damast-standalone_1.3.2.tar.gz` . The file "sha256sums.txt" contains the SHA-256 checksums of all chunk files as well as the re-assembled archive file.
