The burden of cardiovascular disease and risk for subsequent major adverse cardiovascular events in survivors of childhood cancer: a prospective, longitudinal analysis from the St Jude Lifetime Cohort Study
Description
"Demo_survivors" and "Demo_control" contained the demographic and/or caner related variables (survivors only). The variables are described as below.
sjlid: ID for individuals
agedx: Age at primary cancer diagnosis
sex: 1 for male and 2 for female
ydx: Year of primary cancer diagnosis
primary and pdx: Cacer diagnosis
race3: Race/ethnicity
alkagents--maxchestrtdose: Treatment variables
part: 1 for campus visitors and 0 for non-visitors.
alive: Alive status
cardalive: 1 for death due to cardiac causes
endage: Age at the end of follow-up
"rnk12" "rnk15" "rnk25" "rnk35": The data used to calculate the burden/mean cumualtive count for survivors, with different grades respectivly. The variables are described as below.
sjlid: ID for individuals
condition: Chronic Cardiovascular conditions
grade: Common Terminology Criteria of Adverse Events (CTCAE)- grade 1/2/3/4/5, 0 for censoring, and -1 for death as competing risk
cond166: A numeric value for the conditions, 0 for non-events (censoring/death rows)
cond48: Groups of conditions, 0 for non-events (censoring/death rows)
astart: Age at the start of the FU
timebirth: Age at the event or age at censoring/death
"Rcodat12" "Rcodat15" "Rcodat25" "Rcodat35": The data used to calculate the burden/mean cumualtive count (MCC) for controls, with different grades respectivly.
"Fig3data": The data used for "Figure 3. Cumulative incidence [%] of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) based on the cumulative baseline burden of grade 1-2 non-MACE among survivors with treatment exposures placing them at high-, moderate- and low-risk* for MACE". Variables are described as below.
sjlid: ID for individuals
grade12cat: The cumulative baseline count of grade 1-2 non-MACE conditions
ysbase: Time from the baseline visit
outcome: 0 for censoring, 1 for MACE events, and 2 for death as competing risk
cat: 1 for low risk, 2 for moderate risk, and 3 for high risk
