SCOAR_WRF_WW3_model_output_1.5km_North_Atlantic_coupled

Ocean-Atmopshere-Waves coupled model outputs from SCOAR. Atmospheric (WRF) and ocean waves (WW3) hourly outputs are provided for a study case simulation, period 5-8 December 2017. WRF outputs are provided for a simulation coupled explicitly with WW3 and another simulation without wave coupling (Version v1).

In the latest version (Version v2) we provide Atmospheric (WRF) and ocean waves (WW3) hourly outputs for a run using the COARE3.5 wave-based formulation to calculate air-sea fluxes (Edson et al. 2013), (file name including*tp*) and for a run using a modified COARE3.5 including the wind-waves misalignment effect (Sauvage et al. 2023) (file name including *theta*).
