Empirical tropospheric delay model with uncertainty: SHAtrop
Authors/Creators
Description
This model provides an empirical tropospheric delay model with uncertainty information: SHAtrop_{sigma}. The zenith tropospheric delays and the corresponding uncertainty (formal error) for any location and time, given the station coordinates and time (modified Julian date). The Fortran script and the dataset are both provided. Empirical tropospheric delay models are useful for data analysis of space geodetic techniques, such as Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI), InSAR, and satellite altimetry. Previous models only provide the delays but not the uncertainty information. This model is first global empirical delay model that also provides the formal errors.
