Description

El desarrollo local (DL) y la transformación digital (TD) se consideran vitales en las esferas económico y social de Cuba. Sin embargo, no se ha logrado una comprensión completa de su significado y alcance, ni cuáles son sus factores claves, cómo deben complementarse y existen oportunidades de mejora con su gobernanza, que al no tenerse en cuenta atentan contra su éxito y su impacto en la nación. En el artículo se reflexiona sobre estos temas y se ofrecen algunas propuestas para su solución.

Abstract (English)

Local development (DL) and digital transformation (TD) are considered vital in the economic and social spheres of Cuba. However, a complete understanding of its meaning and scope has not been achieved, nor what its key factors are, how they should be complemented and there are opportunities for improvement with its governance, which, if not taken into account, threaten its success and its impact on the nation. The article reflects on these issues and offers some proposals for their solution.
