THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE TREATMENT OF SPOT CARIES IN CHILDREN WITH THE CARIES INFILTRATION METHOD

The results of treatment using ICON technology of 216 children with the initial form of caries were analyzed. The main group included 7-10-year-old caries-affected children, and the control group included 10-13-year-old children. The main group of patients was treated using ICON technology. Thus, the use of the new ICON technology, based on the infiltration of demineralized enamel with a hardening composite using a high-flux light, for the treatment of early stages of caries, gives excellent and good results in immediate and long-term follow-up.
