Data and analysis code associated with the paper titled "Strategic stabilization of arousal boosts sustained attention".

The data is organized as a dataframe in .csv format, with the following column names:

• subject_id = subject ID
• session_id = session ID
• date = date
• start_time = start time (hour of day)
• block_id = block ID (0-6)
• trial = trial ID
• reward = task utility (0 = low; 1 = high)
• noise_dur = noise duration
• catch = catch trial (0 = trial with signal; 1 = trial without signal)
• rt = reaction time w.r.t. trial start time (in seconds)
• outcome = outcome of trial (0 = hit; 1 = miss; 2 = false alarm; 3 = correct reject)
• time_trial_start = trial start time w.r.t. session start time (in seconds)
• time_trial_end = trial end time w.r.t. session start time (in seconds)
• trial_since_hit = trial number since first hit in a block
• pupil_trial_start = pre-trial pupil size (% of max)
• walk = pre-trial walking (0 = still; 1 = walking)
