Description
The data was collected from analysis of six newspaper publications to establish citizen engagement and media coverage of the budget discourse from 2009 to 2013 as part of the investigation of the use of the online national budget of Nigeria. The work was part of the 'Exploring the Emerging Impacts of Open Data in Developing Countries' (ODDC) research project.
