DOAJ Gamified Workshop

The DOAJ Gamified Workshop is an Open Educational Resource, which aims to teach others about the history of DOAJ and how its criteria have developed. The workshop takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour to run, and is recommended for 4-20 participants. 

In the workshop, participants will join one of four groups (Librarians, Funders, Researchers and Publishers) to solve a range of tasks while learning about DOAJ's history. The workshop is collaborative, and is guided by a host. 

Almost everything you need to run the workshop is in this pack, including printable items, a presentation, instructions and script. You do need to be able to print materials, cut it out, and have access to extra sheets of paper, pens, tape and velcro/blu tack. It's also recommended that you laminate the printed items, to help them last longer, but this is not required to play the game. 

Please note that this resource has a CC BY ND licence, but you are permitted to change small things, like the host/presenter name when running the workshop.
