LAND SURVEYING IN RUSSIA: HISTORY OF THE ISSUE
Description
The article shows the system of land management and land use, which was built in different historical periods based on the socio-economic challenges facing Russia. This system was able to solve the tasks of planning, forecasting and design of the land fund, organization of the territory, as well as the protection of land and improvement of its fertility. However, there were significant problems in land management, organization of production and land use, which hampered the economic development of Russia.
