OSeMOSYS Residual Capacity calculator

This workbook calculates Residual Capacity for input into OSeMOSYS. It also helps to account for planned power plants by generating minimum investment constraints for these.

To use this workbook, you will need:

• A list of all the power plants in the region being modelled, preferably including plants which have retired since the model start year (e.g. 2015).
• For each power plant, its capacity and year of comissionning, and optionally its expected retirement year.
• For planned power plants, their expected capacity and year of commissioning.
