Mental Health Prevention in Private/National Universities (PKMPTS/PTN) in Central Java, Indonesia

Adolescents-adults can experience depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Mental Emotional Disorder (GME), and psychosis. (OCD), Mental Emotional Disorder (GME), and psychosis. According to current data current data, within the last twelve months, approximately 15.5 million adolescents experienced a mental health disorders. In addition, there were 663 suicides that occurred in Indonesia. Hence, the figure increased by 36.4% compared to the same period in 2021 (486 cases), due to the fact that suicides are also known as unsuicides. that suicides, also known as the inability to manage mental mental management, are prevalent amongst adolescents-adults and most of the of these cases are from university students.

Demographically, the number of mental illnesses that occur in Indonesia includes in the 10 Provinces with the highest number of suicides in the period of January to October 2023. The Indonesian National Police (Polri) recorded at least 741 suicides that occurred in different places and times, most of which occurred in homes and neighbourhoods. different places and times, most of which occurred in homes and neighbourhoods. So the data is divided as follows:
1. Central Java: 356 cases
2. East Java: 184 cases
3. Bali: 94 cases
4. West Java : 60 cases
5. D.I Yogyakarta : 48 cases
6. North Sumatra : 41 cases
7. Lampung: 27 cases
8. West Sumatra: 26 cases
9. Bengkulu: 26 cases
10. North Sulawesi: 18 cases
