Type.

Photinia serrulata Lindl., nom. illeg. ≡ Crataegus glabra Thunb. ≡ Photinia glabra (Thunb.) Franch. & Sav., type conserved by Nesom and Gandhi (2009).

Remark.

Approximately 27 species and 10 varieties are found across East, South, and Southeast Asia.
