Description
Lycodon jara (Shaw 1802):
Observed at Amlekhgunj-Hattisar. According to Schleich and Kästle (2002), it is a rarely found species from Terai Nepal. However, there are published reports of it in bordering states of India as well. This is the first record from Parsa National Park (Fig. 26).
