Description
During the surgical treatment of various diseases of the hip joint (congenital and pathological hip dislocations, aseptic necrosis, Perthes disease, etc.), it is necessary to unload the hip joint and ensure postoperative decompression of the femoral head. For this purpose, the Ilizarov apparatus is used, consisting of a pelvic arch and ring supports of the apparatus. The disadvantage of this device is the excessive mobility of the pelvic arch when it is fixed using knitting needles. We offer a hybrid fixation system using pins and intraosseous rods. The developed method of applying a pelvic support provides the most convenient position for mounting various configurations of the device on the thigh and ensures stable fixation.
