Petrogale persephone Maynes 1982, Aust. Mammal., 5: 47.

Type Locality: Australia, Queensland, 9.6 km north of Proserpine, base of Mt. Dryander, 20°19'S, 148°33'E.

Vernacular Names: Proserpine Rock-wallaby.

Distribution: Restricted to district around Proserpine.

Conservation: IUCN – Endangered.

Discussion: P. xanthopus species-group.
