Thoopterus nigrescens (Gray 1870)

[Cynopterus] marginatus Gray 1870, Cat. Monkeys, Lemurs, Fruit-eating Bats Brit. Mus.: 123.

Type Locality: Indonesia, Molucca Isls, Morotai.

Vernacular Names: Swift Fruit Bat.

Synonyms:.

Distribution: Sulawesi, Sula Isls, Sangihe Isls, Karakelang (Talaud Isls), and Morotai (Indonesia).

Conservation: IUCN / SSC Action Plan (1992) – No Data. IUCN 2003 – Lower Risk (nt).
