Type Locality: Dem. Rep. Congo: Upper Congo.

Vernacular Names: Golden-bellied Mangabey.

Distribution: Dem. Rep. Congo, south of Congo River.

Conservation: CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Data Deficient as C. galeritus chrysogaster.

Discussion: Separated from agilis by Groves (2001 c:243).
