Type Locality: Madagascar, 6.25 km from the village of Ronomafana, 21°16'38"S, 47°23'50"E.
Vernacular Names: Golden Bamboo Lemur.
Distribution: Between Namorona River and Bevoahazo Village, SE Madagascar.
Conservation: CITES – Appendix I; U.S. ESA – Endangered; IUCN – Critically Endangered.
