Chiroderma trinitatum Goodwin 1958, Am. Mus. Novit., 1877: 1.

Type Locality: Trinidad and Tobago, Trinidad, Cumaca, 1,000 ft. (305 m).

Vernacular Names: Little Big-eyed Bat.

Synonyms: Chiroderma gorgasi Handley 1960.

Distribution: Panama south to Amazonian Brazil, Bolivia and Peru; Trinidad.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc).

Discussion: Includes gorgasi; see Jones and Carter (1976).
