Type Locality: Perú, Amazonas Dept., 65 km E Chachapoyas, near Uchco, Tambo Almirante, 5000 ft (1524 m).
Vernacular Names: Long-tailed Thomasomys.
Distribution: N to C Perú.
Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
