The article discusses the importance of international cooperation in the field of metrological support for soil quality control. Attention is focused on the need to obtain reliable and comparable results of soil analysis in different countries to ensure environmental safety, sustainable agriculture and rational land use. The main directions of international activities in the field of soil quality control are described. Particular attention is paid to one of the key areas of international cooperation - the joint development and certification of standard soil samples used to calibrate analytical methods and control the quality of measurements.
