Description
This code corresponds to the algorithm described in "An algorithm for computing scattering poles based on dual characterization to interior eigenvalues." It consists of Matlab files relying on the use of Gypsilab for finite elements, integral operators and mesh tools : https://github.com/matthieuaussal/gypsilab The code is divided into 3 main files : "main_sc_poles.m" corresponds to the main programm, one can set the parameters (the region of wave numbers to be tested, the boundary condition, the domain...), "MatrixF.m" where the Fourier matrix of the interior scattering operator is computed using Single Layer decomposition for the solution of each interior problem, and "LSM_F.m" where the right hand side is assembled (by sampling points outside the region) and the matrix given by "MatrixF.m" is inverted. We also provide codes to study the influence of the shape of the domain and of the impedance parameter on the value of a scattering pole using the previous files.
