For Mongolotettix zhengi (Lian & Wang, 1955), originally described in Foveolatacris, secondary homonym of Mongolotettix zhengi Li & Lian, 1994.
Etymology: Dedicated to the eminent Chinese specialist of grasshoppers and pygmy grasshoppers Zhe-Min Zheng.
