Description
India has a net planted area of 3.9 mha of Eucalyptus out of the world total of 20.6 mha (Iglesias-Trabado et al. 2009).
Calonectria Leaf Blight (CLB) is a serious constraint to Eucalyptus cultivation in India and worldwide (Bose et al. 2022a).
The Calonectria species known to cause CLB of Eucalyptus species in India include, Ca. reteaudii, Ca. lauri, Ca. kyotensis, Ca. indusiata , Ca. brassicae, Ca. cylindrospora, Ca. colhounii , Ca. cerciana and Ca. pseudoreteaudii (Bose et al. 2022a ; Bose et al. 2022b).
The present study aimed to investigate the efficacy of Trichoderma volatiles against two CLB pathogens, Calonectria cerciana and Ca. pseudoreteaudii recently reported from northern India (Bose et al. 2020, Bose et al. 2022)
