Lake Kinneret environmental and biological parameters 2000-2020 - used in the publication entitled "A framework for identifying factors controlling cyanobacterium Microcystis flos-aquae blooms by coupled CCM-ECCM Bayesian networks"

Description

This dataset was used in the study "A framework for identifying factors controlling cyanobacterium Microcystis flos-aquae blooms by coupled CCM-ECCM Bayesian networks," published by Tal, O., Ostrovsky, I., and Gal, G. at the Kinneret Limnological Laboratory, Israel Oceanographic and Limnological Research.

The study presents a novel computational framework integrating Convergent Cross Mapping (CCM) and Extended CCM (ECCM) with Bayesian Network (BN) models to analyze the causal factors of cyanobacterial harmful algal blooms (cyanoHABs) in Lake Kinneret.

The dataset spans 21 years (2000-2020) and includes measurements of phytoplankton biomass, alongside environmental parameters. These measurements were taken at the deepest station A of Lake Kinneret (Sea of Galilee).

All variables in this dataset have been normalized, except for the temperature, which is provided in its raw form.
