Optimized Route Planning to minimize Soil Compaction in single cropping and intercropping
Authors/Creators
Description
This poster describes a route planning method to minimize the total soil compaction on the field, instead of just finding the shortest route. The proposed route planner is used to search the best coverage path for a given agricultural field, with single cropping and intercropping.
The poster was presented on ICRA'24 conference (Yokohama, Japan), for the workshop "Robotics and Sustainability: A Bidirectional Relationship". This poster received the 2nd place on the Best Poster Award of the workshop.
