Description
This study presents a comprehensive analysis of cetacean habitats in the Eastern Caribbean, focusing on the Agoa Sanctuary. Utilizing Species Distribution Models (SDMs) applied to a dataset gathered from multiple sources between 2008 and 2022, we have developed predictive distribution maps for seven cetacean species and different seasons. These maps are integral for advancing conservation efforts by identifying key habitats and understanding seasonal variations in cetacean distributions. This work underscores the importance of multi-source data integration in ecological modeling and aims to support effective management practices in marine conservation.
