India being Agro-based country, majority of rural households depend upon agricultural sector but currently facing two major problems related to availability of fertile land and water, so integration of aquaculture and agriculture i.e., Aquaponics is a big hope for sustainable crop production at a very minimum cost and less requirement of water and land.
As per primary research, not everyone is aware about its benefit and demand in coming times. The main aim and objective of this study is to make people aware about aquaponics farming techniques its benefits especially in underdeveloped region with scarcity of water and land and educate people about setting up aquaponics systems. People will have a positive approach towards adopting this method not only commercially but also individually, as suggestions one can set up aquaponics individually at home backyard or terrace, govt. can take initiative in making people adopt this system in private buildings and infrastructures.
So as conclusion, it will become consumers first preference as the food produced using aquaponics method is 100% organic and chemical free and variety of crops can be grown.
Also, for entrepreneurial spirits it’s the most demanded field, generating employment by attracting youth towards agriculture sector, sustainable development and waste management and welfare towards the society and its development.
